We're 100% Dedicated To Careers Abroad
Our team began as a small group of internationally minded entrepreneurs interested in launching companies that transcend traditional boundaries. We've always been interested in helping others achieve the same kind of results we've seen. Whether you're interested in pursuing your dream job abroad or starting your own venture, we'll help you do it. From the beginning, we've been focused entirely on doing things internationally
How It Works...
Our program is designed to hone in on your specific skills and experience, allowing you to position yourself in a key position in your ideal industry. Not only will we show you how to make yourself more marketable, but we'll walk you through the process of finding and reaching out to decision makers to get your foot in the door.
Module 1 Briefing & Profile Analysis
During our initial one hour conference call, we will do a deep-dive analysis of your background, skills, experience, and goals. We will narrow down a range of potential career options or entrepreneurial opportunities based on your specific objectives and situation. This analysis and briefing will give us a roadmap and blueprint to follow over the course of the following weeks.
Unlike typical headhunters or recruiters, our goal is not to funnel you into the first job that shows up but to take a long term view of your goals and of emerging global trends and expose you to a range of opportunities.
Module 2 Identify Destination
Location, location, location. Based on our extensive knowledge of major emerging market destinations and cities, we will assist you in narrowing down your destination abroad. We will also provide you background information about cost of living and networking to expand your social circles in specific cities. When applicable, we will introduce you to contacts within our own global expatriate network.
Module 3 Identifying Companies
In this component of the process we will identify 20-30 specific companies in your target destination that fit your precise profile and objectives. We will take into account your short and long term goals, the types of projects that specific office tends to take on, their history of sponsoring expatriates with your profile, and the urgency with which they are recruiting relative to your timeframe.
Module 4 Linkedin and CV optimization
Linkedin is the new CV/resume. However, that doesn’t mean that the traditional CV/resume and cover letter are obsolete. In this component we will assist you in optimizing your linkedin profile and CV/resume to the fullest extent possible. This will prove vital in later modules when you are utilizing both traditional and unorthodox strategies to land yourself interviews at your target companies. As an added bonus, we will provide free linkedin and CV revision and editing services as part of your consultation.
Module 5 Find Decision Makers
Have you ever spent days or weeks of your life sending applications into web sites, only to get a generic “thank you” auto-respond message and never hear back? Those days are over. In this module we will be assisting you in preparing unorthodox but highly effective strategies to get directly in touch with decision makers and ensure that you book yourself interviews in the most efficient manner possible.
Module 6 Hack Human Resources
In "Hack Human Resources" we will be assisting you as you actively execute your career hacking strategies. You will be leapfrogging layers of stifling bureaucracy and saving yourself weeks or months of cash, time, and energy. By the end of this module you will have completed your first round skype/phone interviews and lined up a series of final round interviews in your destination of choice - all before you ever book a plane ticket or visa. You might even get the company to fly you into the country! When applicable, we will put you directly in touch with managing directors and hiring managers from our personal network.

Let Our Clients Speak For Themselves
Associate at Weber Shandwick, BEIJING, CHINA
I had been struggling to get a job that wasn't teaching English in China for a while when I got into contact with Michael on Linkedin. In my first correspondences with Michael he graciously outlined a part of his budding product called The International Career Launchpad. In it, I found the advice I needed to meet the goals I desired. I followed his guidance and found what methods I needed to change in my career search. The more we communicated, the more I learned of his professionalism and the high value of the system he developed.
The International Career Launchpad worked for me quite well, and there is no doubt that it can and has worked for others. Michael has given me steady, thoughtful guidance since my first contact with him, and I wouldn't be where I am today without him.
Associate/Client Advocate at The Red Flag Group, HONG KONG
Getting hired in Asia as a law graduate was an enormous challenge and it was unclear where to even begin. Career Hack was essential in helping me secure my current position in Hong Kong as a Consultant in the Compliance industry. In particular, the Career Hack video tutorials taught me how to network with managers of companies and leapfrog barriers in the recruitment process. It also gave me valuable tools such as executing cold calls and LinkedIn hacks to initiate contact with key decision makers and hiring managers.
If I had used this resource much earlier in my job search, I could have saved the countless hours I ended up wasting on sending resumes to human resource departments, who rarely ever replied. Career Hack is a great resource for candidates dedicated to pursuing an international career. If you want to work abroad, then Career Hack is highly recommended.

Career Hack’s services are unique and can be found in very few places. Its unorthodox methods would definitely give an important advantage to anyone looking for jobs in China.
The personalized counseling, coupled with very reliable responses (most times within minutes if he is online) make it very easy for any job hunter to plan his/her strategy fluidly.
The most important advice I learned from him is to strategically differentiate myself from my competition. Overall, I would recommend giving his products and services a try.
Strategy Consultant – Energy and Environment, Observatory of Emerging Economies (Mines Paristech, Penn State), SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL
During the year and a half that I spent working with Michael across Europe and Asia for numerous case studies, we tackled a wide range of complex energy and environmental management projects. In this time, I’ve come to appreciate his sharp analytical mind and uncanny ability to adapt to all the cultures with whom we have exchanged. Moreover, while we were working together in Beijing, he assisted me in successfully sourcing interviews and offers in China, Korea, and Singapore with a range of multinationals and boutiques. I am very confident that others would benefit from his blueprint as well.
Language Activity Officer at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. (UC Davis), HONG KONG
Having worked with Michael as a client, he has provided me with invaluable service that helped place me in my current career in Hong Kong. Michael provided multiple step by step career blue prints for launching my career in Asia. He showed me that there were multiple paths to entering a career in Hong Kong, or anywhere in Asia, and he gave me guidance on how to do so. Before obtaining my current position in Hong Kong, I had several other backup strategies for entering the Hong Kong market, thanks to Michael. His wide range of knowledge working and living in Asia, as well as his own experience as an American expat make him invaluable in career consulting for young American expats like myself. I still consult him regarding my future plans and career aspirations, and he still provides me with excellent service and practical applications.
Iraq War Veteran. (CUNY Hunter College). MEDELLIN, COLOMBIA
Michael Park has been an outstanding resource in helping me plan any future move into China. I was pleased at the depth and breadth of his knowledge about the various facets of Chinese society and economic trends. Having worked in other high-context cultures in the past, I knew that these are the important intangibles that would have the potential to make my task much easier, or much harder, as foreigner looking for success. Michael not only understood these intangibles, he showed me some of the best ways to make them work in my favor by incorporating them into my overall strategy. The action plan that we came up with is one that would increase my likelihood of success, and lower my exposure to risk, as much as possible if I make the move out to Shanghai.
Michael was very attentive and surprisingly quick in understanding the complexities of my situation, which is unique as compared to the majority of the clients he deals with (I am an Iraq War Veteran). I am grateful to him for helping me to lay out a personal roadmap to succeed in the dynamic Chinese economy. The actions that I am executing now, and will execute if I go there, will give me a competitive advantage over anyone attempting to make a similar move while not informed by Michael’s brand of expertise.
Asia Pacific Managing Partner - Performance & Assurance at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, SINGAPORE
I have been working as an environmental professional and business developer in the Asia Pacific region since early 1994, dealing with start-ups and turnarounds in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and South Korea. Whilst developing rapidly growing teams of consultants, I have spent a great deal of time hiring individuals at all levels from interns to Directors and have seen a very broad range of strategies and approaches adopted by hopeful applicants.Whilst working with Michael Park in Seoul in 2010, he asked me to review the approach he had developed to help individuals to establish themselves in this part of the world. I was astonished to find that he had succeeded in creating a process that systematically ensures an applicant takes the appropriate actions towards securing a position in Asia. I believe that a graduate or budding professional, sincerely looking to build a career in Asia who applies his or herself to the steps set out in the blueprint will enjoy a successful outcome.
